Dear Friends and Supporters of St. James Mercy Hospital,
On behalf of the St. James Mercy Foundation Board of Directors, thank you for taking time to visit our website. In doing so, you join many other community partners who recognize the value St. James Mercy Health System brings to our region as a transforming, healing presence providing quality healthcare to all.
Sincere thanks, as well, to all those who provide financial support through St. James Mercy Foundation’s annual campaign. Your contributions make possible a wide range of facilities improvements, equipment purchases, program development, and staff support.
In 2010, the annual campaign raised over $136,000 in private funds. Notable among projects supported last year were comfort rooms for adolescent and adult behavioral health, designated spaces designed to calm the senses and provide visual, auditory, olfactory, and tactile stimuli while providing a sanctuary from stress. Foundation funds also supported purchase of additional equipment for the cardiac rehabilitation department, thereby increasing the quality of services we are able to provide these patient populations.
The 2011 annual campaign will launch later this year, and I urge you to commit now to playing a role in that effort, both by making a pledge of financial support and by volunteering your time and talent.
